I Cannot Un-Know You

When for the first time
I gazed upon Your glory
I knew that I was meant
For nothing less
Than eternity with You.

I cannot un-know You
Since the day You have made Yourself known.

I cannot un-know You
When those first few words
Escaped my lips
"My Lord and Savior"
You have locked Your statues
For a lifetime keeps.

I cannot un-know You
You have engraved Your word
On the tablet of my heart
And written it in my mind
With the most perfect seal
More than this wildest desires.

I cannot un-know You
For when you once revealed
You will always be.
I cannot un-know You
Though I see, and hear, and feel
This world,
I cannot un-know You.

You are a God who has made Yourself known.
